Insurgence DC (formerly Insurgence) is a punk band formed in 1987 in Raleigh, NC. From 1987 till 1999 the band played over 400 shows and released numerous EPs and singles, as well as two critically acclaimed albums recorded and co-produced by David Barbe at his studio in Athens, GA. . Despite having members in both Washington, DC, and in Raleigh, NC, the band began playing shows again in 2013.
